I was sitting at home watching TV late one night in 2017 and just before bed went outside to have one last smoke. While I was having my smoke, I noticed a red light on the horizon which I thought looked strange, and different from aircraft.From my balcony I can see planes approaching Auckland Airport, New Zealand’s major airport and this light was out of place. The light was not blinking or flashing and was travelling a little faster than a plane on a normal flight plan and was travelling from west to north east. 

I am a keen amateur Star Watcher and Astro Photographer and over the years have spent most clear nights looking at the night sky on my telescopes and am used to seeing Aircraft and Satellites. This was neither and got my attention.As I watched the light, (it was Red and Orb shaped) it never changed at any time and stayed at the same speed and course and it was lower than a plane would be. As it came closer, I noticed that there was no noise at all.  To me this meant that it was not a helicopter and there were no flashing lights to indicate it was a plane. By now, it was coming very close to my house, as I had never seen anything like it before I went inside and grabbed my phone which was the closest thing I could lay my hands on to take a picture as my Cameras were all packed up.  

I hurried back outside and the Red Orb shaped object was very close, I leant over the railing of my balcony to try to get a picture as it was disappearing over my house. I went back inside and checked my phone but unfortunately there was no picture of the Red Orb, I had missed photographing it and was disappointed. Over thousands of hours spent over many years of watching the night sky and I had finally seen a UFO and had missed my opportunity to photograph one. 

The next day at work I checked the photo again just to make sure I had not missed it and I noticed what looked like a tiny white image in the photo so I zoomed in and there appeared to be something there, but I could not make it out. I put the image into Microsoft paint and magnified it and there was defiantly an object of some sort in the fuzzy patch of the image.

The only Photographic Software I owned at the time was editing Software for a Canon Camera. This software can not alter or change the photo in any way other than the brightness, hue and saturation etc. I spent many hours playing with this image trying to find the right settings to improve the clarity of the image, and by Chance after experimenting with many settings I managed to get my UFO Photo, I mean a complete Photo, clearer than any UFO photo I have ever seen before or since. 
I do not own photoshop, or other photo enhancing software of this type.
 Over the next months I had many discussions about what to do with the photo with a friend, I initially intended to sell it but knew it would take Money and Marketing skills, of which I had neither and believed that it could put my life in danger if conspiracy theories are to be believed. Then I lost my Job and my Health deteriorated suddenly. My health condition became very serious very quickly and was only going to worsen over time and I needed extra income. So at this time I sold 75% to my friend Gilbert who promised to provide me with part time work from home for the duration of my life, and to sell it on my death with my interest going to a Long time Friend.

Since then i have sought out very UFO Photo I can find, and have never seen a photo of a UFO that has the clarity of mine.

In late 2019, some 18 months later I was watching a documentary on Net Flicks called “The Universe” and it had a segment on the Russian Satellites that went missing on a Mars mission in the late 1980's. The Russians stated that their satellites were shot down by a UFO. There was a Photo of the UFO in the documentary, the Russian Picture was very grainy but the clearest end matched my photo. I showed the Russian Picture to my friend Gilbert and he said, “That’s Your Picture”.

On our Press Page there is a comparison of the front part only of my photo with the Russian images. My Photo was taken in 2017 and the Russian one in 1989. My Photo is of better quality than The Russian one but very similar. I managed to find the Russian video about the incident and found out some information that might explain how I got my UFO photo. The size of the craft in the Russian image is estimated to be about 25 kilometers long, on the Russian UFO age there is the image that they used to make that estimate. So, if the Russian Photo is as large as they say it is, then it might explain how there was enough light to get the photo. 

Finally, I believe that what I photpographed was a UFO Mothership, and I cannot help wondering if the aliens in it mometarily uncloaked their UFO so I could take the photo.
